  • Info from "The Little Book of Skincare" and "The Korean Skincare"

  •      I‚Äčnstead of trying to cover up flaws with makeup and spot solutions, focus on skin-care products that get at the root of conditions and treat problems before they start. Relying only looks unnatural, but it's also a temporary fix to a long lasting issue. With their skin-care down pat, and their basic canvas prepped and primed they go out with minimal makeup and still look flawless.
  •     Sadly we don't start taking care of our skin until problems arise. You'll need to get a jump on it before it starts.
  •    Your skin care is THE most important part of having a clean dewy look. Taking the proper care of your skin will make you makeup routine easier with little or no makeup.
  •    First to start is the double cleanse. I know what your thinking. It's hard enough to cleanse once but TWICE. But after a few days of double cleanse you'll see a healthier skin on your face. then you'll be glad you started double cleanse.
  •    Cleansing is not only your first step in your skincare routine, it's also the foundation. It sets the stage for your skincare items that you use. Going to bed without washing your face can lead to clogged pores and acne breakouts. Makeup, sebum and environment impurities like pollution can settle into your pores, making them appear larger and causing blackheads.
  •    Not only does not washing your face can cause pimples. It can also accelerate aging. The free radicals do some pretty NOT awesome things to your skin. They disrupt and kill skin cells which can breakdown of natural elastin and collagen.
  •    This is why you want to start your double cleanse. First to start with an oil-based cleanser then second with a water-based one.
  •    First the oil-based cleanser. For this I use "Rice Water" that I got on Amazon for $10-12. An oil-based cleanser is actually good for oily, sensitive or acne-prone skin. Oil-based cleanser can break down oil and excessive sebum and oil-based impurities. Rinse with lukewarm water.
  •    The second cleanse is the water-based cleanser, which will take care of sweat, dirt and any other debris.
  •    This step you will use a gel-based or foam cleanser, which ever you prefer and feels best on your skin. A foamy cleanser doesn't mean it's the best one for your skin. Foaming does not increase a cleanser effectiveness or provide any extra benefits. I use Clinique foaming cleanser. You can use any water temperature in this step you like.
  •    If you have questions or comments just let me know.
  •   HAPPY CLEANSING.

Hello friends. I'm Pam from Greenville South Carolina. I'm married to my wonderful husband and we have 2 boys and 2 dogs, Duke and Chloe' that are my babies.

I absolutely love cosmetics and all that apply. I have my makeup artist certificate. I used to model in Atlanta Georgia. I've done shows at Saks 5th Ave., Lord & Taylor and Macy's to name a few. When I was modeling I used to watch the makeup artist do their thing and was fascinated watching them. They could total change the look of the models.

Back then you had to have your cosmetology license to be a makeup artist. But now you don't. So I studied and got my makeup artist certificate. I LOVE IT. I've always did family and friends makeup for as long as I can remember.

My blog is going to be for women age 40 and over. But that doesn't mean you younger girls can't benefit from these blogs as well.

I want to cover things like skin care, foundation and application, contour and highlights.

I also want to cover things I've learned though the years like cleaning and care of your cosmetics brushes. Closet organizers etc. and any thing you would want to know more on.

Please feel free to comment on anything good or bad on products you have used. Or any thing you want to know more on or any problems you have had. I will try to help you.
